Proverbs 22:6 ESV
We believe that one of the church's most important responsibilities is to teach and care for the children that God has placed in our lives. Our high school ministry seeks to live this out towards CPC's high school students and their families. Below you'll find more information about our weekly youth group, our leaders, our upcoming events, and other helpful resources.
YOUTH GROUP
Each week, students from our youth group volunteer to provide snacks for our group, usually something small and easy like chips, fruit, or a dessert. You can sign up to bring snacks using the Google doc below.
EVENTS
LEADERS
Kyle Hansen
Kyle learns and teaches math as a grad student at UCSB. He consistently enjoys running, biking, and swimming, as well as baking delicious treats for his friend. He sings with the Santa Barbara City College Quire of Voyces, and will probably pick up a new hobby within the next month, only to set it down two months later.
Sophia Manos
Sophia enjoys playing piano/guitar and going on long walks on the beach with her husband, Zach, and dog Davey. Sophia loves serving at CPC with the worship team and her husband. She also loves visiting family, camping, watching whatever new Star Wars content is out there, reading historical fiction and fantasy novels, and of course a good romantic comedy! Professionally, her passion lies in the sustainable management of fisheries and sediment within our local watershed.
Nick Whitaker
Nick is the Assistant Pastor of Youth & Community Engagement at CPC. He grew up in the Bay Area and became a Christian in high school. He loves board games, movies, and talking about Jesus.
