WHY MEMBERSHIP?
The New Testament Scriptures are saturated with examples and stories of people committing to, identifying with, and held accountable by local Christian communities (1 Corinthians 14:23, 6:4; Acts 5:13; Phillipians 1:1; Romans 16:1; 16:3–4; Revelation 3:4). Today, we call this membership. Life together in Christ flourishes in the context of this type of commitment.
HOW TO JOIN:
We want to make sure that everyone who joins CPC understands who we are, what we believe, and the nature of the commitment they are making. We offer a Connect Guide and class that explains our beliefs and values. Additionally, one of our leaders serves as a guide, offering care and support along the way. We hope these resources enable you to take membership vows with confidence.

HOW TO LEAVE:
We understand that one’s relationship to a particular church is not eternal. Sometimes, for various reasons, God calls people to serve him in other places. Because members have made vows to support the church and because the church has made vows to support members, we believe it is important that we help people transition well. And just as joining the church involves an intentional process that culminates in a formal relationship, so leaving the church should also be an intentional process. If you leave, our desire is that you would find yourself in an accountable relationship with another gospel-community. But in those sad circumstances where someone’s relationship to the Christian faith has changed, we want to know that as well. Wherever you find yourself, please communicate it to us through the links below.
